Bramm A.M., Halyasmaa A.I., Matrenin P.V., Eroshenko S.A.  Monitoring system for 6/10 kV power line parameters based on noncontact inductive transducers for detecting unauthorized energy consumption

The paper proposes a method for detecting unauthorized energy consumption in 6/10 kV distribution networks based on noncontact inductive transducers located in close proximity to power lines. The methodological background includes a physical model of coil output signal shaping as per Biot-Savart-Laplace law and Faraday’s law of induction, as well as spectral-energy analysis of signals. The change in the energy of the fundamental harmonic of the industrial frequency (50 Hz) is used as a diagnostic feature. It can be estimated by the results of short-time Fourier transform (STFT) with subsequent recording of the event. The spatial interpretation is based on the consistency/inconsistency of responses from successive control points. The activation of a sensor located earlier along the power flow, in the absence of a comparable response from the next sensor, is interpreted as a sign of load connection on the section of the power line between the two sensors. For experimental testing, a laboratory model of a three-phase power line with the possibility of load type changing was used. The experimental data confirm the applicability of noncontact inductive recording for quick event detection and the localization of the segment of unauthorized switching in case of uniform distribution of control points along the 6/10 KV feeder.

Tumanov A.A.  Development Trends in modern CNC machine tools

The digital transformation of industry, including mechanical engineering and other key sectors using metalworking equipment, is increasingly involving companies specializing in information technology in the development of these industries. Under these circumstances, it is important for all participants in this transformation to understand the specifics and development prospects of the industry's core production resource – CNC machine tools.

Kaliev O.S., Romanyuk E.V., Zaslavsky G.E.  Automation of air purification in industrial suction systems with tubular deduster

A method for automatizing industrial suction flows dusting is described. To that end, a tubular deduster was developed whose original design can be changed dependent on the pressure differential across the device. The proposed filter structure enables the assessment of purification efficiency. The developed control technology makes it possible to maintain the specified purification efficiency level and decrease the suction system’s energy consumption.

Dry aerosol printing technology is investigated, process control parameters are systematized. Groups of setup pasrameters and interpolated ones controlled in process ща printing were distinguished. A block diagram of a specialized CNC system for a plasmonic nanostructural printer is proposed, the application of AxiOMA Control platform is substantiated. To this end, ISO7-bit language was extended. The results of printer testing are presented.

Chemidov I.V., Kazantseva M.A.  Developing unified information space for a radio-electronic company

The development of a unified information space (UIS) at an industrial discrete manufacturing enterprise is discussed. Service-oriented architecture (WCF), application programming interfaces (XML, JSON), and a solution enabling direct interaction of production systems at database level are the key integration elements. The approach ensured end-to-end data identification at all article lifecycle phases, workflow automation, and the integration with industrial equipment. Its application at NPP Radiosvyaz’ JSC has confirmed approach effectiveness owing to the reduction of human factor influence, debottlenecking in IT infrastructure, and higher controllability of production processes. The proposed solutions can be adapted for other discrete manufacturing enterprises within the digital transformation policy.
Keywords: unified information space, integration, information systems, service-oriented architecture, industrial production, application programming interfaces, database management system.

Tretiakov N.G., Kuzmenko V.P., Solyonaya O.Ya.  Application of stand-alone RS-485 SMD tranciever with integrated power supply in PLC

A modern solution for implementing RS-485 industrial interface (ModBus RTU/ASCII protocol and physically similar) is discussed in the context of NSIP83086 tranciever microchip in the SOW20 SMD case with high isolation voltage (5,000 VRMS) and integrated auxiliary power source from PRC-based NOVOSENSE Microelectronics. The paper presents the comparative analysis and the results of experimental research (oscillograms and thermograms) of various operation modes of conventional RS-485 implementation on stand-alone digital insulator microchips and on an uninsulated tranciver and NSIP83086. It shows that NSIP83086 ensures higher noise immunity, lower heating, and cost-effectiveness. Shagniev O.B.  Intellectualization of milling process control system in uncertainty conditions

The problem of automatic tool wear identification and compensation in the milling process is discussed. A mathematical model of the dynamics of the elastic "carrier–tool–work surface" system has been developed in view of the nonlinear nature of the contact interaction forces. Experimental investigations and mathematical modeling show that the tool wear may cause self-oscillations and stability loss. Two tool wear models were analyzed and included in the milling model. Mathematical modeling results were used for artificial neural network training. A set of indices calculated by statistical processing of the readings of the tool application force sensor was used as the input data for ANN training. The output data are the cutting depth corresponding to the input parameters given that the tool is new, and the binary expert assessment of the surface machining quality. Based on the ANN evaluation, the logical block makes a decision on the advisability of changing the cutting parameters in accordance with the developed algorithm. Thus, the intelligent adaptation system enables timely tool wear detection and the machining program update without reducing the treated surface quality.
Keywords: mathematical modeling, machining process, milling, neural networks, intelligent control system, self-oscillations, stability.
