Cultivation of crops with UAV improves agriculture operations. Existing spraying techniques are typically downward that often does not meet cultivation requirements and implies serious chemicals loss. Using a spraying control device enables a variety of spraying directions and angles that saves working fluid and improves the accuracy of its application. This results in better crops protection against illnesses and harmful insects and eventually higher crops capacity along with reduced environmental pollution.

The application of the unit enables high-fidelity connector test with coupling/decoupling force below 0,98 N.

Kuznetsova S.V.  Calculation the parameters of an automated assembly device based on a robot with parallel kinematics

The device automating the assembly operation of cylindrical connection with a backlash is developed. It is based on a robot with three parallel kinematic chains. The manipulator is equipped with a feeder and an adaptation tool for assembled parts. Device parameters calculation procedure is described. The interrelations between the parameters of the connected parts and the assembly device are established. The sequence of calculation steps is presented as an algorithm flowchart.

DMG MORI advances at a steady pace

At the February 2020 exhibition in Pfronten, Germany, DMG MORI has presented its portfolio of innovative solutions for machine-tool industry with the focus on Connectivity networking standard for heterogeneous machine tools, the renovation of legacy CELOS releases, the new client portal my DMG MORI, and the TULIP software, the ideal solution for the entry level of digitization. Most of the exhibits were integrated single-vendor automation systems. Three world premieres expanded the company’s product line: DMC 65 H monoBLOCK horizontal CNC milling center, PH CELL pallet system, and LASERTEC 400 Shape laser texturing machine.

The state of the art of domestic scientific and practical journals is analyzed in the context of how they present the achievements of domestic applied science in the field of industrial automation.
