The paper discusses the automation of supervisory control of an industrial complex by means of supervisor logbook. The software is implemented as a component of SPURT-R software suite from ATGS JSC. Solution’s functionality and structure are described, further development is outlined.
Keywords: supervisory control systems, supervisor logbook, import replacement, gas transportation enterprise.
Tsvetkov V.V. Transformation of heterogeneous data of SCADA schematics to standardized formats
The paper discusses the automated development of new SCADA schematics based on the data retrieved from the existing ones. Against the lack of a unified layout standard, the manual data transfer is laborious and error-prone. A way to overcome the challenge is to automate the retrieval of schematic’s key elements, such as names, graphic components, data tags attached, etc.

Overhead power line icing poses significant risks to stable operation of power supply system and may cause major accidents. Present-day methods for glaze-ice elimination based on mobile melting units are discussed. Ice melting on the wires may cause a number of hazards such as increased melting currents resulting in burnt wires; taps and terminal transformers result in equipment failures, whereas untwisted cables and couplings may be overheated. The paper describes an approach to ensuring the reliability of glaze-ice melting on the wires, namely, the calculation of admissible melting currents and determining extensive network topology. It shows that the developed melting unit can effectively remove glaze-ice deposits from overhead power lines without any risk of equipment damaging on branches owing to specialized methods of line section diagnostics and the use of protective jumpers.
Keywords: glaze-ice and rime deposit melting, direct current, mobile unit, overhead power line topology, electrical wires.
