Poletykin A.G., Megazetdinov N.E., Semenkov K.V., Zharko E.F., Promyslov V.G., Byvaikov M.E.  Nature-friendly structural node components for hard-/software complexes based on single-chip computers

The paper examines the application of single-chip computers in measuring instruments and control systems. With the example of OPERATOR System integration platform, it shows that nature-friendly node components can be created for hard-/software complexes on the basis of onboard computers. The authors call these node components “veurons” and discuss their advantages such as cost-efficiency, hardware unification, maintainability and replaceability, and limitations such as the need for parallel computing algorithms, moderate network streams, and veuron data streams. Examples of upper level veuron-based configurations of measuring instruments and control systems are included.

Keywords: instrumentation systems, single-chip computer, veuron.

Yolshin V.V., Kolodin A.A.  Optimal control of gold dissolution process in gold-bearing ore grinding cycle

The control of the gold dissolution process in the gold-bearing ore grinding cycle is discussed. The process comprises of two subprocesses: getting the specified ground product fineness and gold leaching with cyanide. Control schemes for both subprocesses are presented, their drawbacks are listed. The dependence of dissolution process on oxygen and cyanide content is investigated based on laboratory research. A control model for gold dissolution process is offered, and the conclusion is made about the control system’s components and optimization variants.

Shuvalova A.A., Polishchuk V.I., Postoyankova K.Yu.  Design concept of an automated control system for active power flow over electric mains in overload conditions

Notwithstanding the extensive dissemination of state-of-the-art smart automation devices in power industry, the dispatcher still has to make decision on power flow control when network elements are overloaded. The control is generally donу by switching aimed at consumers disconnection. The paper proposes to extend the range of automated supervision tools for controlling active power flow through a network element in overload mode. The design concept of an automated system is based on the use the load effect in a fuzzy controller. The authors show that the synthesized control system demonstrates the correct operation logic and saves up to 7% of the power flow.

Keywords: automated control system, fuzzy logic, forced mode of power system, load effect, interconnections.

Egorova D.V., Popova A.V., Shchelkanov S.K., Kalinina A.O.  Control system for planning, accounting and quality management processes at an engineering plant

The paper describes the implementation of an automated control system for planning, accounting and quality management processes at an engineering plant. Project prerequisites, implementation phases, status quo, and development plans are discussed.

Keywords: automated production management system, product quality, incoming inspection, planning, space-rocket hardware.

Chikhladze Z.D., Brom A.E.  Decision-making support system for equipment maintenance at its operation sites

The paper substantiates the relevance of developing a decision-making support system for controlling the process of equipment maintenance in operating organizations. Such maintenance features a lot of administrative problems, such as the difficulties of work forecasting, and hence making justified managerial decisions. Most of available decision-making support techniques address the needs of equipment manufacturers and thus hardly allow for the specificity of maintenance activities at operating organizations. To overcome this challenge, decision-making support tools are developed aimed at equipment end users.

Keywords: decision-making support, expert methods, private networks, fuzzy logic, modeling, equipment maintenance, operating organizations.

Sidel’nikov I.D., Brom A.E., Antonov A.V.  Modeling equipment operation processes with reference to diagnosis quality in regional service centers

The paper discusses the poor quality of equipment after-sale service and health diagnosis in regional operation conditions. A hypothesis is made about the influence of uncertain fault monitoring undertaken in regional service centers on the reliability of equipment operation. A simulation model of operation processes, which allows for the errors of explicit and implicit failure diagnosis, is presented. The influence of poor diagnosis quality on the operating efficiency is analyzed. Based on simulation results, the paper substantiates the need for developing a digital hardware operation support platform to ensure diagnosis quality in on-line mode.

Keywords: operation, after-sales service, reliability, diagnosis, Markovian model, operating efficiency.

Sergeev A.I., Gavryushina E.V.  Making managerial decisions with a digital twin of a manufacturing system

The paper analyzes research results in the field of developing digital twins for production processes. The problem of integrating a production system with its simulation model is examined. An OPC-server is proposed for data communication from a [physical system to the virtual one. A control algorithm for a transportation system of an automatic workcenter based on this approach is described. The paper notes that a digital twin of a manufacturing system enables various operational and strategic decisions, such as production plan update or capacity increase.
