Control system's mathematical model and dynamic responses obtained in MATLAB / Simulink environment are presented. The results of control system's investigation on a test rig are included.

Arystanbaev K.E., Apsemetov A.T.  A method for carbon oxide concentration evaluation in high-temperature combustion processes

A method for evaluating carbon oxide concentration in high-temperature combustion processes is presented. The paper offers an optimizing control problem for fuel combustion process using a stabilizing regulatory controller, which affects the fuel/air ratio with respect to carbon oxide concentration in the firebox. In this connection, an approach is offered to solving this problem subject to the correction factor compensating for the error of carbon oxide concentration measurement.

Gryzhov V.K., Korol'kov V.G., Gryzhov E.V., Akshinsky A.D.  Flexible converter of analog signal into discrete digital one with the example of double integration voltmeter

A flexible converter of an analog signal into a discrete digital one is designed in VisSim modeling environment with the example of double integration voltmeter. Two oscillators are applied for waveform processing algorithm optimization: the first one specifies a fixed time interval for each measurement run, while the second one is a high-frequency impulse oscillator, which forms measuring impulses. The converter employs the original pulse counter assembled per adder circuit using feedback with memory. The capabilities and advantages of the converter are described.

"Teleportation Zone" - An unusual project based on Omron equipment

An unusual project was implemented recently by Teleportation Zone company in cooperation with Omron - that was Nikola Tesla teleportation machine. The paper offers an interview with Mr. A.
