Livshits I.I.  Actual problems of information security education and training

Information security is a subject matter for BS and MS degrees in many Russian technical universities. Such specialists are critically important in various segments of economy, first of all, to ensure stability and national sovereignty. Despite all their positive features, the existing education and training programs have problems which may become apparent within a longer period of time. This imposes the risk of certifying specialists unfamiliar with international information security standards and thus unable to ensure the required security level. In the worst case, this risk may occur at the state level and result in critical problems in national security provision.

The paper analyzes the ten-year evolution of an educational laboratory of industrial microprocessor technologies. The paper discusses the features and interrelations of development trends on digital technologies, components of integrated logistic product lifecycle support, and auxiliary systems. An approach to the state assessment of the support system for integrated logistic lifecycle support of Afrikantov OKB Mechanical Engineering is presented. The final state assessment model of finite element analysis for the integrated logistic product support is developed.

In their work, circuit board designers must allow for a lot of details. The probability of error is rather high as well as its cost. Design uncertainties may ensue signal integrity damaging and, eventually, in manufacturing problems. This results in project schedule disruptions and longer product time to market. The paper offers a control system for biological treatment of sewage water with a coordinator of activated sludge self-organization and self-regulation processes. A biological treatment process is interpreted as a result of “diffused” controller (DC) operation. A formal DC description is proposed, and the problem of coordinating the actions of its “active points” is set. The problem of centralized biological treatment control is formulated, and a two-loop model-based adaptive control system is described.
