The increasing role of high tech in industry requires more and more clear water for industrial purposes. In view of this, the industry feels the increasing need in effective, high capacity automated water treatment systems. Also, the public attention is focused on environmental issues of industrial processes as never before. For example, the United Nations water resources group recommended to decrease water intake from renewable sources (rivers, lakes, etc.) for industrial purposes at the expense of multiple re-circulation and better treatment of process water. All this causes a number of new requirements to the ways of process water production and treatment.
