System integration problems that require the interaction of systems working under QNX with remote systems working under other OS, mainly Windows-based SCADA, can be solved successfully with the help of new products from NAUTSILUS Scientific Center based on DA/HAD/AE OPC protocols and XML. A good example is the integration of a supervisory control system of Usa-Ukhta-Yaroslavl oil-trunk pipeline (Ukhta, Russia) using RealFlex suite for QNX with the central control room of Transneft in Moscow employing Microsoft-based Genesis32 SCADA.
