The paper makes recommendations for N-paraffin dehydration process optimization. The Pacol process is a part of linear alkyl benzene and alkyl benzene sulfonic acid (LAB-LABS) complex. An opportunity for increasing unit productivity by reactor temperature adjustment is examined. Process simulation algorithm is offered; structural and parametric synthesis of the chemical-engineering system is undertaken.
