Maksyutov A.Р.  Hybrid multi-protocol data communication system on a microchip

The switch to advanced infrastructure development implying the use of smart systems for bidirectional data communication and control is a key trend of energy accounting system market. Typical media for implementing such systems are radio frequency (RF) channels or power line communications (PLC) each having its application limits. The paper discusses competitive advantages and key components of n-DnetTM technology from MobixChip based on hybrid data transfer via RF and PLC channels and the unified virtual communication network (3DC). The technology is currently implemented on a circuit board level; the forthcoming launch of n-DnetTM - UART MXC-100 Tamar is announced.
