Zeldin Yu.M., Kovalev A.A., Kovalev V.V., Lun-Fu A.V., Anuchin M.G.  Proactive control of gas transport network as an advanced development line ща supervisory control system. Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk case study

The paper presents an advanced concept of adaptive, or proactive, control of gas transport system (GTS) based on a nonstationary model with the functionality of GTS mode prediction. The model uses the estimates of gas supply demand for the next 1-3 days and other information. As against the conventional feedback control scheme, the proactive control predicts possible emergency situation and offers the actions aimed at its elimination or loss mitigation. The control method implementation is discussed with the case study of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk LLC where the nonstationary GTS model interacts in real time with the supervisory control system based on SPURT compressor mode control system.

Lavrov S.A., Konkin R.N., Kovalev A.A.  Automation of gas distribution network as a key component of gas supplying for Russian users

The paper reviews automation solutions for gas-distributing stations based on STN-3000-R hard-/software from AtlanticTransgazSystema JSC and discusses the present-day development trends of automatic control systems for gas-distributing stations. It showcases the advantages of gas-distributing station automation on the basis of the single hard-/software platform with supervised teleautomation stations. Such approach opens up extensive opportunities for the organization of effective operation of both individual systems and the gas transport industry as a whole.

Keywords: gas-distributing station, automatic control systems, supervised teleautomation stations.

Roshchin A.V., Shchukin D.V., Zeldin Yu.M., Rafikov R.R., Aronov S.G., Kotov V.V.  Advanced technologies in aircraft fueling control: the “Digital Fuel-Supplying System”

The paper discusses the solutions for aircraft fueling control and filled fuel measuring implemented for major Russian fueling companies by the consortium of Neftegazavtomatica JSC, Aviatechnology Scientific and Production Association, and AtlanticTransgazSystema JSC. The solutions developed underlie the next generation “digital fuel-supplying system” and employ STN-3000-RKU PLC and other equipment developed and manufactured by AtlanticTransgazSystema.

Keywords: aircraft fueling control, filled fuel measuring, digital fuel-supplying system.

Goryachev I.S., Chernyi S.G.  Automated control system for sea-going ship pilotage

Pilotage is performed by sea pilots: navigators who know local navigation, hydrological and hydrometeorological features of the pilotage district. Pilot’s recommendations to captains are based on his knowledge and experience. This means a strong influence of human factor on the pilotage success. The paper offers an automated control system for sea-going ship pilotage, which enables the reduction of human factor’s influence with ensuing navigation safety improvement. The system featureв property is a mathematical model of ship’s navigation in narrow water with reference to hydrometeorological factors and a complex risk minimization criterion.

Chereshko А.А., Titkina M.S.  Application of associative search algorithms in model predictive control

The paper offers a control algorithm with a predictive model using associative search techniques. At each time step, the identification algorithm constructs a new approximating hypersurface of the space of input vectors and their corresponding one-dimensional outputs. The paper discusses the advantages of the new method. An associative model-based MPC algorithm (“AMPC”) is developed. A criterion for selecting the AMPC forecast horizon is introduced.
