Geoinformation systems for industry, agriculture, and public authorities

The paper describes the implementation phases of a mine surveying automation project. It suggests to use AutoCAD CIVIL 3D for strip-mining 3D modeling and engineering. The system is fed by geospace data received from remote Earth probing with unmanned aerial vehicles. Project results are included.

The paper offers a design concept of a crops monitoring system with the complete set of corporate data. The ArcGIS-based system enables getting and analyzing of the full on-line account of agricultural grounds and crop ripening during the whole of vegetation season along with cloud service cost reduction. The system's capabilities are illustrated with the case study of rice crops sattelite monitoring in Kazakhstan and a precision agriculture and monitoring system used by Beck's Hybrids (USA).
