With the evolution of geographic information systems, 2D and 3D technologies the need in the simplification of spatial information is becoming apparent. GIS-based analysis requires to allow for process dynamics. 3D functionality is not sufficient for this purpose; 4D systems comprising 3D space representation and a time scale are needed. The paper presents the capabilities and features of Integra-Planet-4D GIS.

The hardware developed includes a drive startup control system, electric drives for tilting and rolling tables, monitoring subsystems for winding temperature, cooling liquid supply, oil level and power supply parameters, and an operator panel.
