The paper presents the results of the research aimed at cybersecurity improvement of distributed multi-agent cyber-physical systems (CPS). The work included the analysis of hidden destructive information impacts which do not destruct the design operation of system's components, the development of the space of indirect CPS operation symptoms allowing to conclude about the cyberattack hazard. The research resulted in the development of an extended approach to the detection of new cyberattacks against a CPS based on indirect symptoms of complex system's operation. It enables the development of robust algorithms for automatic identification of information attacks, counteraction techniques, and the replenishment of Business Intelligence functionality.
