This paper presents a method for multi-factor equivalent-cyclic testing (MFECT) for avionics reliability assessment at research and development stage. The method's application area and key advantages are discussed. The results of reliability tests form a database. All testing methods and procedures are effective research tools which provide a preliminary assessment of avionics reliability, for example, in terms of degradation of soldered connections of foreign electronic circuitry in BGA-cases, made by Lead-free technology and installed using reballing operations. The MFECT method also addresses the intensification of test object degradation through the use of forced influencing factors of HALT rejection procedures.

Automation of mining industries

Osipova N.V.  Overview: Pulp analyzers for automatic monitoring of magnetic separator enrichment products

The paper overviews in-line pulp iron analyzers for automated monitoring of wet magnetic separation process at ore-dressers. Various measurement techniques, such as magnetometric, X-ray fluorescence, radiometric and combined, are discussed. Well-known branded foreign and domestic solutions, their merits and drawbacks are examined. Iron monitoring devices in the pulp flow are compared subject to the following parameters: the elements to be determined, the enrichment product, measuring range, maximum absolute error, accuracy and measurement time. In-line analyzer requirements for iron ore dressing applications are formulated. Further research in the field of magnetic enrichment monitoring devices is outlined.

The paper reviews the existing methods for ore mill load control. A process control system for ore feeder of a wet SAG mill at Malomyr gold-ore deposit is described. The features of ore feeder control algorithm allowing for the readings of motor power and barrier fluid pressure on supporting bearings are discussed, its application advantages are showcased.

An approach to the development of a mobile application for maintenance and repair works scheduling and supervision at the sites with extensive infrastructure is discussed. Data authorization, information and interfaces personalization, and information security issues are highlighted. A key advantage of the approach proposed is the possibility of implementing the dynamic generation of personal versions of the application, data structure and composition at the settings level. With the case of system application at Gazprom Centrremont LLC, the paper shows the solution effectiveness under rapidly changing business processes with fixed minimum total cost of software ownership.
