Reconstruction of automation tools and systems at Pavlovka oil treating and pumping unit

The paper presents the architecture of the modernized process control system for oil and gas production workshop of Pavlovka oil treating and pumping unit. The system is based on Wonderware software. Functionalities of all system`s upper level components are listed as well as the related software. The control system is a standard solution which can be used in other workshops of LUKOIL-Perm JSC without additional updates.

Human Centered Design: a new approach to product and technology development

Human Centered Design is Emerson`s new concept aimed at facilitating the use of Company`s PlantWeb digital architecture products. The support of the new concept is implemented in DeltaVTM ver. 11 DCS with on-demand I/O function as well as in the AMS Device Manager instrumentation maintenance software with more than 50 new control panels.
