Introduction

Kozletsov A.P., Reshetnikov. I.S.  Application of ISA-95 standard for information systems integration at a manufacturing firm

The paper examines the key information models described in ISA-95 standard It shows how these models can be used in the integration of factory's MES- and ERP-level information systems. The implementation of ISA-95 concepts in Easy95 ODS is described.

Keywords: standard, ISDA-95, integration, information system, information model of production, B2MML.

Baulin E.S., Boronin. A.B., Khokhlov A.S.  Sliding specification of oil refinery's or petrochemical's operations schedule and the update of planning optimization model

The problems of production plan execution at oil refineries and chemical plants are discussed. An approach to operations schedule specification using the sliding two-period planning procedure is offered. The difficulties of planning optimization models update in the RPMS refinery planning system are analyzed and the tools for automatic model update are offered.

Keywords: optimal planning, scheduling, model update, multi- period planning, mathematical modeling.

Shaidullin R.A., Khokhlov A.S., Prokazina M.V.  Simulation models in oil refinery scheduling system

A simulation-based approach to oil refining scheduling is offered. The role of simulation in the complex of scheduling systems is analyzed.

Keywords: oil refinery, scheduling, simulation, MES, advanced planning and scheduling (APS).

Sidorenko A.M., Khobotov E.N.  Work planning and scheduling subject to modules and articles assembly

The paper discusses a factory planning and scheduling algorithm applicable to the sites where modules and articles assembly is performed along with component parts machining. The software implementation of the algorithm proposed is outlined.

Keywords: planning, scheduling theory, modules assembly, algorithm, production program, aggregation, decision rule.

Mukhin I.N.  Automation of production scheduling in small-lot and order-based production

The functionality of the planning module of Preactor system from Preactor International is discussed with the example of the project implemented by RTSoft at a printing plant in Moscow.

Keywords: production planning, small-lot and order-based production, infological model, minimization criteria, production costs.

Hucklerode K., Tyunyatkin A.V.  Evolutionary development of company's operations management

The paper shows that the traditional approach to MES/MOM implementation based on the deployment of a finished integrated MES/MOM-solution would often lead to poor results and would not justify the client's expectations. An alternative approach is presented, which includes as a strategic element an open, scalable, flexible, highly available and protected real-time data infrastructure and a programmable toolkit for real-time data handling (SMI/EMI). Implementation examples from various sites are included.

Keywords: operations management, data infrastructure, real time, production intelligence, scalability, controllability.

Abakumov E.M., Kazanbekov S.B., Reshetnikov I.S., Kozhevnikov N.O. The interaction of operational management of mainline and tool productions at an engineering plant

The paper examines operations management systems of mainline and tool productions with a case study of a nuclear weapons factory and analyzes their interrelations as well as the problems associated with the synchronization of productions and their management systems.

Keywords: MES, operational management of production, machine building, tool production, informational interaction, production planning.

Kuvykin V.I., Petukhov M.Yu.  Building business process models in oil refinery automation systems

The paper discusses basic concepts of business process model building in planning and accounting systems of oil refineries. It shows the need in implementing a unified refinery model at all levels of business process
automation for their effective integration in the unified information space.Optimization techniques for the unified refinery model are offered.

Keywords: automation, industry, ERP, APS, MES, oil refining, integrated control systems, knowledge management.

Gurianov L.V., Klyuchnikov A.B.  Integrated management system for a company as an efficiency driver

The paper discusses the design of an integrated control system for a company on the basis of a software platform, which comprises several informational layers enabling data aggregation and the management of all layers' interaction.

Keywords: integration, automated company management system, informational layers, data aggregation.

Key phases of warehouse automation with WMS

An integrated approach to WMS-based project implementation offered by LogistiX is presented. Application examples are included.

Keywords: warehouse management system, learning, automation, logistics.

Nikulin D.  How to implement the projects with the best results

NORBIT has implemented a SAP project for Yuterra, which was recognized as the best one by SAP Quality Awards in the Small to Medium-size Implementation category in CIS 2011. The paper analyzes the implementation experience.

Keywords: implementation methodology, packaged solution, system tuning, prototype testing, demonstration, operation.

Bretman V.V.  MicroTCA: the experience is accumulated - go ahead!

In full compliance with analysts and professional community's expectations, MicroTCI-based bus-modular are being increasingly used in telecommunications industry, with which this standard has close affinity, as well as in defense and aerospace applications, healthcare, power and other industries. Notwithstanding MicroTCA standard's young age, rather extensive development and implementation experience has been accumulated in all the above mentioned fields. According to the market evolution logic, this experience in many respects determines the further development vector and is a major key to success.

Keywords: bus-modular architectures, processor boards, interface modules, multi-core processors, scalability, throughput.

Lykov D.A., Kiseleva O.A.  ICONICS-based automated supervisory control system for Alma-Ata subway

With the case study of Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan) subway, the paper discusses the key phases and design features of s supervisory system for a plant with many controlled systems and signals. It describes the as-built architecture based on GENESIS64 64-bit SCADA and HyperHistorian data server as well as the know-how of the Moscow-based Laiton engineering company applied during system development.

Keywords: automated supervisory control system, subway, engineering systems, tunnel access security server, tag generator.

Yendiyarov S.V., Petrushenko S.Yu.  A diagnosis and process control system for iron-ore agglomerate preparation and production

Existing solutions for improving the efficiency of iron-ore agglomerate preparation and production are briefly overviewed. A diagnosis system for agglomerate preparation and production aimed at improving the quality of iron-ore feedstock and agglomerate with the help of a set of mathematical diagnostic and control models.
